Nigo's latest offering
A Bathing Ape may well be one of the reasons that you first visited Be Unequaled, or Billionaire-Boys-Club.co.uk but in recent months/years it's popularity has soared and subsequently fallen.
Forum member mythbauer24 posted a few 'OG' items earlier this month, all of which look awesome and pretty much showcase what a lot of the old 'BAPE heads' found appealing about the brand. None of that Baby Milo x everything or anything of that nature, just great design (imo off course)!
Pondon's has been stocking a few items that have really caught my eye, so I thought I'd share one particular range of pieces that you might like.
Fast forward to 2008 and things are certainly picking up. I've seen a number of BAPE items recently that are really nice and thought I'd post them up here for your enjoyment! They're nothing really special, but basic, interesting and well executed pieces. BAPE's use of their duckhunter camo could be called in to question, but it's overuse is clearly down to popularity and demand. It's use here in these t-shirts is subtle and just enough.
Towards the end of 2007, we saw a few pieces from one of the many BAPE Paper releases and a few items got a far more positive reception than the re-release upon re-release of shark and tiger hoodies have!
I've previously blogged about some other pieces I've really liked, so who knows, maybe my BAPE x DC Batman t-shirt won't be the last BAPE purchase I make!
