Reading for the week ...
So over the weekend I picked up a whole host of new reads for the month. I don't deal much with that television malarkey, yeah it's on a lot, but that's because the sounds pretty comforting. But really, the only things I actually watch on the idiot box would have to be Family Guy (Stewie + Brian = a better duo than Outkast! Yeah? And what!?), Skins (Ahh, to be a teenager again. Plus Cassie would get wifed, if she ate some calorie-infested meals for a few weeks that is) and pretty much anything on Discovery and Animal Planet. The Great White shark shows are a particular favourite of mine ... know your enemy.
So when I'm not trailing on the quest to get paid or pitter-pottering, dilly-dallying, fitter-fattering around various quirky bar-surroundings with my bar brigade (What up y'all!) or getting my love-handle polished, I've got my noodle buried in a book (ooer).
Out of the host I picked up this week, I've begun reading between two of them and by-gum are they grand pieces of literature. The first is "In the Miso Soup" by Ryu Murakami. Which, so far, centres heavily around the Tokyo nightlife, mainly the sordid, seedy under-belly of the sex market.
it's based around the narrator, kenji, who offers a service to tourists in which, in return for a respectable amount of loot, he takes them to the freaky "hotspots" that aren't covered in your travel's guide. well, he picks up a fruitcake doesn't he? and as he takes him from place to place, he sees and hears some things that kind of make him wish he'd never got into the business. i'm only a quarter in but already it's got the markings of a classic thriller novel.

The second that I'm currently burying myself in is "Harvard Business Essentials - Entrepreneur's Toolkit". An absolute blinder of a guide of the do's and don't's of business management, quetionnaires, examples, case studies and lots of useful tid-bits for everyone en route to major coinage (Inshallah). This has a home in my palms (move over ladies) for a while.

Images coming soon 'cause this mess is annoying! Hah.
Thursday's looking good for Stack and Ques! Yay!
Ciao Chaps and Chicks!
